The activity tomorrow is Geocaching! We are meeting at 6 at the stake center. We will finish (or at least stop) at 8:30. We'll be outside so send them with a coat and a flashlight...and an umbrella! An automobile GPS with "pedestrian mode" and a full charge will work. You can come help if you like...and watch over your GPS.
One of the requirements for the Merit Badge is for the Scout to open an account at Geocaching.com. It will expedite the activity if they can set up the account before they come. The account will have to be tied to an email address. That can be one of his parent's. He will need a handle or online name. Mine is p8check...surprised?
If you can't set up the account at home send your scout with a permission note and an email address and we will try to set it up at the meeting.
Six Scouts earned the merit badge and two more got partials!! Happy cachin'.
